Summer Goals

I had an interesting visit with my obstetrician-gynecologist the other day. I told her I was walking as normal as I did before. A good 30 minutes or so. She was flabbergasted and called me an overachiever. I admit, I am starting to feel the tightness in my legs. I was told to take it easy since it was suppose to take me at least 6 months to be fully healed. Either way I feel great, especially after the rainy days we had in New England. I want to take advantage of the sunny days to go on a nice stroll by the beach. With the newly scars from surgery and stretchmarks around my belly, let's see what 4 wraps will do for me. I plan on applying it every 72 hrs, apply defining gel in between twice a day and along with my favorite stretch mark body cream.

For those that do not know how it works, the results are not temporary as long as you maintain it. I'd like to sleep in the wrap for 8 hours. It actually continue to work for the next 72 hours. During that time period, it's CRITICAL that I drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces of water for the next 3 days. My Doctor weighed me in at 172lbs the other day so that's basically 5 bottles a day! Easy! I'm using the wraps on the same area for a FULL TREATMENT.

Dieting is so critical during the wrap experience. I have to avoid caffeinated drinks, alcohol and foods that are just fatty and loaded with sugar. Basically just avoid crap and eat healthy. As far as exercising, I'm starting slow with walking and perhaps light weight lifting as long I don't hurt myself. Those Mommy Workout Groups sounds like a good idea if I can find one.
